We're setting up for Sooke's third Repair Cafe, during the Planet Earth Party on Sunday, April 22.
Come on down to the lower floor of Sooke's Community Hall and enjoy the company of people fixing things. Some people bring wooden chairs and bicycles, others bring toasters or a really warm sweater with a broken zipper. If you know how to make repairs, this is a great place to hang out anytime from 10:00am to 3:00pm. If you want to learn how to fix things, your neighbours are here to help you get started.
The Community Hall has already been home to two great Repair Cafes in April and October of 2017!
Here's a great photo of Garrath Morgan — at Sooke Community Hall making repairs with young helpers at our first Repair Cafe last April. To read about that first Repair Cafe, click on this link.
And here's another photo from our second Repair Cafe last October. Elgin Ambrose was back again as a fixer. Thanks to Jeff Bateman for all of these photos!
And this powerful image is a Do It Yourself logo made by Bernie Klassen for silkscreening onto t-shirts and grocery bags at our first Repair Cafe.
