Music!

We have music planned for our Planet Earth Party on April 22!

First, during the day from 11:00am to about 3:00pm, there will be live music performed outdoors at the Sooke Community Hall. This is the place to be when you wander out from the Repair Cafe downstairs or the Exhibit upstairs at the Hall, to hear some good sounds while having a bite from the food vendors and checking out the display of four electric cars. Look here for music by Gord Philips, the Ed Fury Band, Bob Menzies, Dave Gallant, Eric & Linda, and more!

And then, in the afternoon and evening from 4:30pm to 8:00pm, our Planet Earth Party is an All-Ages music event. There will be a sock hop with music managed by DJ Ron Larson. An Upcycled Fashion Show will be presented. Awards for the Poetry Contest and the Sooke Region Clean Up will be given here. And keep your eyes peeled for a Circle Dance and a Singalong. Sooke's Community Hall will be full of music!
